Who’s Gadiel?

Gadiel is a non-binary performer based in Orlando, FL. They are self-trained dancer who moved from the beautiful island of Puerto Rico in 2014 and started Gogo dancing at different night clubs that include Pulse Orlando, Southern Nights Orlando/Tampa and EVE Orlando. In 2016 Gadiel met Blue Star, creator of Bluelala Entertainment and The Peek-A-Boo Lounge (longest running burlesque show in Central FL), and started their journey as a Burlesque performer. By winning the BlueLala Entertainment: Amatuer Burlesque V, Gadiel found their passion by performing burlesque. They bring a classic yet modern style of performance that incorporates dancing and sexuality expression at its finest.

From there, Gadiel has performed at several locations throughout the nation and internationally. Expanding their experience within the entertainment industry, from corporate & private events to fundraisers for non-profit organizations such as The Center Orlando, Zebra Coalition, The BarberFund and Come Out With Pride. Besides burlesque, Gadiel has proven to have many excellent talents as they also traveled nationally as a backup dancer for several Drag Queens such as Trinity The Tuck, Kandy Ho, Cara Cavalli Andrews, The House of San Miguel, in-between others.

Their extensive knowledge and experience in the burlesque industry is thanks to having the opportunity to work and learn from some of South Florida’s most talented burlesque artists such as Blue Star and The Peek-A-Boo Lounge, Tymisha Harris AKA Tush, Elaine Hoxie AKA Miss Foxy, MariDevi Haze,  Misty Rose, and Mayven Missbehavin.

Gadiel’s unique way to perform has broken the mold of burlesque in their home state of Florida . Proudly being one of the first Non-Binary artists to perform in spaces were only cis-women have been allowed to entertain. Gadiel’s goal is to continue to share their art with others and please the crowd with their sensual and teasing movements while also raising awareness of equality, specifically in the burlesque industry. Not only that, but Gadiel hopes that they can be an inspiration to help open the doors to other LGBTQIA+ entertainers in FL and the world.
